Railcare’s Locomotive Workshop, which carries out maintenance and rebuilding of rail vehicles, has reached an important milestone by being certified according to ISO 9001, which confirms that the company’s quality management system meets internationally recognised standards.
“We have been working according to the management system for some time, so it feels great to have received a certification, as it is proof that we are doing everything correctly. Quality is one of our main priorities, alongside safety. This certification recognises the hard work we put in every day,” says Patrik Söderholm, Operations Manager.
The certification strengthens Railcare’s Locomotive Workshop’s position as a reliable player in the rail vehicle industry.
“This is just the beginning. We look forward to continuing to develop an organisation to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the high demands of both customers and the industry,” concludes Patrik.
ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management and aims to ensure that companies deliver services and products of the highest possible quality. Railcares Locomotive Workshop is also ECM-certified to perform maintenance on locomotives, wagons and railway machines in accordance with EU regulation 2019/779.
