In February, Railcare had a visit from the Transport Committee. Jonny Granlund, Business Area Manager and Mattias Remahl, CEO took the opportunity to explain more about how Railcare contributes to a sustainable railway. Along with how our machines, methods and solution-oriented employees can streamline railway maintenance to resemble a Formula 1 pit stop.
The visitors from the Traffic Committee also visited the workshop and the next-generation battery-powered maintenance machine MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle). The new MPV has been equipped with pantographs that can charge continuously directly from the overhead line. A development that, in addition to fossil-free operation, enables the machine’s maximum time on track.
