Railcare has today, 8th July 2019, driven 500 iron ore trains for the Swedish iron ore producer Kaunis Iron. The trains transport iron ore between Pitkäjärvi in Sweden to the Kaunis Iron shipping terminal in Narvik, Norway. Since 13th August 2018, we have transported a total of 1,543,409 tonnes of iron ore in the 500 trains and our collaboration with Kaunis Iron continues very well.
